Direct Success, Inc. started in 1995 as a small venture with the dream of providing top quality service to the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industries. Our goal was not to be the biggest but to be the best. Founder, Cheryl Lawrence McDaniel, had worked in other direct mail and fulfillment houses, discovering that none of those companies held themselves to the high standards she believed possible. An opportunity came her way with a small client project. From that single project, Direct Success, Inc. was born.

Our attention to detail and unparalleled focus on quality quickly impressed our clients, and the business grew through word of mouth referrals. Direct Success, Inc. has continued to grow and add services as clients need them, expanding beyond Direct Mail and Sample Fulfillment to a complete line of Alternative Sales Support Services. The company grew every year, honing a specialized approach to alternative sales channels and becoming a full service provider to the industry. Direct Success now employs approximately 50 employees and owns a 66,000 square foot facility where all services are executed under one roof.

Cheryl Lawrence McDaniel has 20+ years of experience in advertising and marketing. After years of working for other companies, Cheryl started her own company in order to be a part of a company that embodied principles important to her. Those principles included a company that operated with the highest of ethics, a company that produced quality work in every area on a continuing basis, a company that respected talent and people of all backgrounds.

Cheryl found that the marketing world combined perfectly with her creative background as a musician, music teacher and director of children's musicals. Working through issues involved creative thinking no matter what the application.

Planning, organizing and hosting dinner parties are Cheryl's favorite hobbies. Sharing time with her grandchildren is one of the best parts of middle age. Cheryl and her husband, Dave, enjoy time with family and friends in the Caribbean whenever possible. Cheryl is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a Bachelor's degree in Music and Master of Science in Marketing.

Alex McDaniel is a homegrown Direct Success employee, and has been with the organization since 2002. His passion for quality and attention to detail has earned him the position of Compliance Officer. His responsibilities include regulatory compliance, employee training programs and SOP maintenance. His recent focus has been on maximizing profitability while insulating clients from liability through the use of regulatory compliance. Alex has helped to design and maintain a comprehensive compliance program for DSI and their clients, and has also helped create and implement some progressive compliance reporting models that can be used for industry wide sales and marketing analytics. Alex is a family man and a musician with great passion for life and all the challenges it brings.

As a dedicated member of the DSI team since 2006, Nick has proposed and implemented many ideas that have greatly improved the level of service we provide our clients, as well as increased our company profitability. His constant attention to detail and efficiency has led to a great deal of cost-savings measures, higher productivity, and an extraordinarily organized inventory. Nick has over 20 years of management experience, in both large and small fulfillment and production companies. A graduate of Monmouth University with a BS in Business Administration, Nick enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He resides in the shore area with his wife and two daughters.
